“…There has been inconsistency in the naming of this phenomenon (i.e., xanthomatous pseudotumor and benign histiocytic proliferation with xanthomatous changes) and the clinical setting in which it is found. We favor the term post-chemotherapy histiocyte-rich pseudotumor (PHP) proposed by Chandra et al [14] to better describe these lesions and their clinical implications [13,15].
