Permanent magnet structure design of outer rotor radial flux permanent magnet generator for reduction cogging torque with design of experiment

Abstract: Radial flux permanent magnet generator have higher output voltage and torque capability than axial flux II. DESIGN OF OUTER ROTOR RADIAL FLUX PERMANENT permanent magnet generator. The efficiency is also higher than MAGNET GENERATOR axial flux permanent magnet due to the lack of rotor windings have high power density and torque per current ratio , but the The conventional RFPM generator is classified into innerlarge cogging torque can be generated. Cogging torque would be rotor and outer-rotor types.the source … Show more

“…Considering the maximum construction limit in a suburban area and maximum wind velocity, the desired output power is considered to be 6 kW [15] (Equation ( 1)). As stated by Betz Law, for wind power extraction, kinetic energy extraction of over 59.3% is not possible for any wind turbine system.…”
