Perkembangan Studi Hadits Kontemporer

Abstract

Studi hadits selalu mengalami perkembangan dan pengembangan yang dinamis dalam setiap fase sejarahnya, sesuai dengan tuntunan dan tantangan zamannya. Tulisan ini mencoba memotret dan mendeskripsikan perkembangan studi hadits satu abad terakhir di dunia Islam. Dengan pendekatan historis-deskriptif, tulisan ini akan memetakan karakter dan kecenderungan mutakhir studi hadits di dunia Islam. Ada empat kecenderungan kajian hadits yang dideskripsikan pada tulisan ini, yaitu pertama studi manuskrip kitab-kitab hadits; kedua studi polemik seputar hadits; ketiga studi kemukjizatan ilmiah dan kemukjizatan futuristik dalam hadits dan keempat pengembangan kajian takhrij hadits. The study of hadith always experiences dynamic development and improvement in every phase of history conforming the demands and challenges in each phases. This paper tries to portrait and describes the development of hadith study in the recent century in Islam. By using historical-descriptive, I will map the very latest characteristic and trend of hadith study in Islam. There are four trends of hadith study that will be described in this paper: 1) manuscript study; 2) study on the polemic around hadith, 3) study on the scientific and futuristic miracle in hadith; and 4) the improvement of takhrij hadith study.
