Perioperative Systemic Lidocaine for Postoperative Analgesia and Recovery after Abdominal Surgery

Abstract: Perioperative systemic lidocaine may be a useful adjunct for postoperative pain management by decreasing postoperative pain intensity, reducing opioid consumption, facilitating GI function, and shortening length of hospital stay.
