“…Tephrochronology suggests their major activity during the LGM (Koiwa 2003;Sawaguchi 2006), but there is no agreement on the environmental conditions when they formed. The wavy forms display a variety of shapes and dimensions, with the largest reaching 2-3 m in (peak-to-peak) am- plitude (Nogami et al 1980).
