Performance of municipal waste stabilization ponds in the Saharan desert (Morocco)

Abstract: The majority of cities in the Saharan territory of south Morocco utilize waste stabilization ponds (WSPs) for municipal wastewater treatment because of their relatively low capital, operational costs, and minimal complexity.
