Performance Evaluation of Heading-and-Winning Machines in the Conditions of Potash Mines

Abstract: The authors focus on the process of potash ore production by a mechanized method. They show that currently there are no approved procedures for assessing the performance of heading-and-winning machines operating in the conditions of potash mines. This causes difficulties in determining the field of application of heading-and-winning machines, complicates the search for implicit technical solutions for the modernisation of existing models of mining units, prohibits real-time monitoring of the stability of stope… Show more

“…The first is that only two current sensors (Hall-effect compensated current sensors) are required to detect faults, as shown in Figure 16. The third phase current is determined indirectly [37][38][39]. Further analysis of the method has highlighted a number of advantages.…”

“…The first is that only two current sensors (Hall-effect compensated current sensors) are required to detect faults, as shown in Figure 16. The third phase current is determined indirectly [37][38][39]. The second is achieved by a synchronous recording of the phase voltage currents (uA, uB, uC), which eliminates the influence of mains distortion.…”

“…Total influence of alternating moments on the resulting AM electromagnetic moment is determined by the coefficient for pulsations of the electromagnetic moment K p (10). To take into account the effects of the multicomponent harmonic composition caused by both the converter and the AM defects, with regard to (8) and ( 9), it is necessary to divide the total coefficient of pulsations ∑Kp into components K p and K p * (11).…”

“…An algorithm for ANN operation was compiled based on Equation(10). It took into account the system operation, which evaluates the possibility of failure-free functioning for analyzed electric and vibration AM characteristics using ANN.The input of a neuron network included a block for generating training data and a block for creating an ANN.…”

“…Not all plants can have the necessary equipment reserve at all process units. There are many developments with recommendations for the introduction and implementation of systems that provide technological maintenance for equipment based on preventive methods [3,4]. For example, [5] describes a methodology for planning the maintenance of pumps at existing thermal power plants.…”
