Performance characteristics analysis of CI engine using dual biodiesel

Abstract: Due to the scarcity of petroleum fuel, the researchers have paid their attention to find the alternative fuels. The biodiesels may be the best choice among different available alternative fuels as these fuels gives better performance and less emission of the green house gases. For getting the better performance on biodiesel, the testing as well as optimum parameter for better performance is required to be found. Keeping these facts in mind, this study has been carried out. This study shows the effects of diffe… Show more

“…A recent investigation conducted on a diesel engine with castor methyl ester (CME) biodieseldiesel blends along with nanoparticle dispersion evinced that 25 ppm in 20% CME blend improves BTE and curtails BSFC. The same concentration also provided reduction in HC and CO emission [4]. In a similar study, candle nut and soap nut biodiesel were used along with alumina nanoparticles.…”

“…Therefore, researcher's efforts are in place toward to explore alternative fuels for use in internal combustion (IC) engines. 9,10 These fuels can be considered a new and renewable source instead of fossil fuels, such as diesel and gasoline, which are aimed at reducing the exhaust emissions and improving engine efficiency. 11,12 In light of this, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is being seen as a great deal of attention due to its many advantages.…”
