Abstract:Inspired by the humpback-whale flipper which enables robust aerodynamic force production, we propose a biomimetic blade design for small Biomimetic Swirl Device (BSD) added on gaseous engine inlet system. Such system can achieve robustness in aerodynamic performance for the intake flow.
