“…The analysis of profiles that consider other variables in the field of non-university education is not very widely documented, highlighting research such as that of da Rocha et al [ 54 ], analysing student engagement, or that of Regueiro et al [ 55 ], valuing learning goals, which is a novel study in the realisation of these profiles in terms of responsibility. In the case of university students, there are several investigations that support the use of the profile technique for variables such as academic success, mental attitude, the value of education for the future or learning style [ 56 , 57 , 58 , 59 ].…”

“…It is assumed that, beyond the time that each student spends doing homework (Regueiro, 2018;Regueiro et al, 2014;Rodríguez et al, 2019;Rosário et al, 2018;Trautwein, 2007;Valle et al, 2017), and even beyond the amount of homework that is assigned, the relevance of homework would be in the value and quality of the homework and in the effective management of the pupil's time at home (Núñez et al, 2015(Núñez et al, , 2019Valle et al, 2015). In other words, the key to assessing the quality of homework will be the students' time management at home, together with other variables that fall within the self-regulation of learning; students' abilities to seek and learn information, manage the study environment, and also maladaptive regulatory behavior (self-regulatory deficit).…”
