Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feeding in a district rehabilitation service

Abstract: Patients requiring PEG feeding in a district rehabilitation service have a range of diagnoses and the main indication for intervention is neurological swallowing impairment. The majority of patients were nutritionally depleted when feeding commenced and the reasons for this require further investigation.
