Percutaneous Absorption of Zinc in Acrodermatitis enteropathica

Abstract: An 8-month-old girl with acrodermatitis enteropathica was treated with 25% zinc oxide paste, locally, in the diaper area. A rapid improvement of the symptoms was observed a week after initiation of the treatment.
