“…Text analytics is a technique of unsupervised learning applied to extract meanings, patterns and structures hidden in unstructured textual data. Text analytics were performed using the software IRaMuTeQ 0.7 alpha 2 (http://www.iramuteq.org/) (Oliveira Júnior and Salerno, 2021) and the corpus preparation took place with a cleaning phase in the pre-processing, and once the parsing was completed, it was analyzed following these steps: (1) calculation of the main lexicometric measures for corpus validation (2) similarity and co-occurrence analysis (3) application of Reinert's classification technique for the identification of semantic clusters (Ratinaud, 2009).…”

“…Two of those groups used the flipped classroom methodology, while the other two had traditional lectures. Because Statistics is often seen as a demanding course that needs to be attached to the practice (De Oliveira Júnior & Araújo, 2018), the professor decided to flip the class to invite the students to participate more actively in their learning process. The groups had approximately 45 students each and were held over one semester, twice a week, with classes lasting for one hour and forty minutes.…”
