Documentary film learning media still needs to be used for history lessons in high schools, including the History of Islamic Culture Documentary Films. This study aims to analyze differences in student learning outcomes in the Islamic Cultural History course between groups of students studying explanation documentation and those studying traditional learning. The research approach used is quantitative research. The population of this study amounted to 250 students. It consists of 40 experimental students, and the control class has the same number of 42 students. Data collection method with the test method. Data analysis using quantitative analysis. This study’s results indicate that using a documentary learning environment substantially impacts student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History courses. This is supported by the significance value (two-tailed) being less than 0.05, so H0 is approved, and Ha is not. If the significance value (2-tailed) is less than 0.05, then H0 is not approved, and Ha is approved. It can be concluded that the results of student learning in the experimental class and the comparison class, students produced superior grades in the experimental class because they used documentary film media. This research implies that using film learning media makes students more enthusiastic and motivated to participate in learning. Thus, students' learning motivation can be increased by getting to know documentary films.

Improving Purchasing Decisions Through Price Perception and Product Quality: The Mediating Role of Brand Image in Botanica Apartment

This research examines the impact of brand impression through the mediators of pricing perception and product quality on a buying decision for a Botanical Apartment. This study used primary data from questionnaires with a purposive sampling technique and the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling) method to investigate the stated hypothesis. Two sessions were used to complete the PLS-SEM analysis in two phases. The reliability and validity analysis is the first stage, and the estimate and validation of the path coefficients and the robustness of the structural models are the second and third stages, respectively. For statistical analysis, using a sample of 220 respondents was taken from residents living in The Botanica Apartment and applying Smartpls V.3.2.9 to test the hypothesis of the influence of variables simultaneously and partially. Research findings show that brand image influences purchasing decisions, product quality affects the brand image, product quality affects purchasing decisions, price perception affects the brand image, and price affects purchasing decisions. In addition, the study revealed that product quality impacts brand image indirectly through purchasing decisions, and price perception impacts brand image indirectly through buying decisions.

Rendahnya penggunaan media pembelajaran di kelas berdampak pada aktivitas belajar dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru pada media pembelajaran short documentary video materi pencemaran sampah di pesisir pantai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu 30 orang siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran geografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode angket. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket atau kuesioner yang dianalisis serta dibuat kesimpulannya berdasarkan interpretasi hasil analisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru setuju jika memiliki keterbatasan untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dalam pembelajaran. Guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif, informatif, dan mendukung pembelajaran secara mandiri. 86,7% siswa setuju jika belajar menggunakan media audio visual lebih menyenangkan daripada menggunakan buku ajar. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perlu dikembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran short documentary video pada materi pencemaran sampah pesisir pantai. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa implikasi, pertama, untuk guru dan siswa perlu mengubah pola pengajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum dan tujuan pendidikan serta penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas belajar siswa dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi sehingga mendukung pembelajaran mandiri, kreatif, dan menyenangkan.
