The results of the teacher competency survey from the 2018 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) put Indonesia in rank 74 out of 79. This shows the low quality of teachers that has an impact on student achievement. The ability of students is very lacking, especially in the ability of understanding, reasoning, and solving mathematical problems. Therefore, a teacher as the main designer in the learning process is required to be able to master learning theory and learning princip les and be able to master and develop learning materials creatively. The princip les and creative learning materials are known as realistic learning models. Therefore, th is study aims to improve the competence of high school teachers (particularly in the East OKU d istrict) in implementing realistic mathematics education (RME). This research method is divided into three stages, namely: First Stage: socialization in the form of lectures and discussions about RME material. The second stage: workshop/training/assistance in program preparation, and preparation of teaching materials usin g RME. The third stage: the implementation of learning in schools, along with the monitoring system. The results of the analysis conclude that this study has increased the professional competence of teachers in implementing realist ic mathematics learning as indicated by its potential influence on student learning outcomes (the average score of students' abilities is 70.16). The average value of the results of observing student activities during learning is 3.09.

Pengembangan kualitas pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional dan memenuhi tuntutan global yang sangat kompleks membutuhkan guru IPA yang profesional. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas adalah menerapkan pembelajaran IPA berintegrasi etnosains. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui respon guru IPA dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA berintegrasi etnosains Penelitian melibatkan guru IPA di kabupaten Bangkalan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer yaitu hasil pengisian angket oleh guru IPA. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan dipersentasekan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berintegrasi etnosains merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat dilaksanakan dengan mudah, semua konsep dapat dilakukan pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan observasi, dan sumber belajar dari lingkungan serta penilaian dilakukan secara autentik.

In the era of Industry 4.0, teachers are expected to exhibit a professional attitude in fulfilling their educational responsibilities. Despite their involvement in numerous activities, the level of professionalism among teachers has not seen significant growth. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the SKI (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam/Islamic Culture and History) Module in enhancing the professionalism of SKI teachers. The study was conducted in a madrasah affiliated with the Ministry of Religion in the Maluku Province. A total of 20 SKI teachers from the madrasah in Ambon City and Central Maluku Regency were selected as research participants. The research utilized a quantitative-qualitative approach, collecting data through observations, interviews, and product assessments. The results indicated that the module's validity score was 90.38, indicating high validity. The product rating was 3.563.56, demonstrating a very high level of quality. Additionally, the assessment of learning tool preparation scored 7.84, representing a high level of proficiency. The mastery of learning material achieved a score of 82.04, signifying a very high level of competence. The preparation of research proposals scored 69.269.2, indicating a medium level of readiness. Overall, the findings suggest that training using modules can effectively enhance the professionalism of SKI teachers within the Ministry of Religion in the Maluku Province.
