Mengintegrasikan matematika dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, maupun pengetahuan awal siswa merupakan dasar untuk menjadikan belajar matematika bermakna bagi mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan yang terpisah, subjek yang berbeda dan topik yang berbeda sepatutnya diramu menjadi keseluruhan yang bermakna dan mahasiswa harus dapat menghubungkan setiap bagian-bagian tersebut dengan kehidupan, minat atau kebutuhan mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penggunaan modul berbasis REACT pada matakuliah kalkulus terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis mahasiswa. Subyek penelitian ini merupakan 5 mahasiswa yang telah menempuh matakuliah kalkulus diferensial. Data penelitian berupa hasil pekerjaan siswa pada modul REACT, disertai hasil wawancara untuk memperkuat hasil yang diperoleh. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis untuk mahasiwa berkemampuan tinggi adalah mahasiswa dapat memahami equivalen konsep atau prosedur yang sama, mengaitkan antara materi yang terdahulu dengan materi yang akan dipelajari, dan menghubungkan antar konsep matematika. Sedangkan untuk mahasiswa berkemampuan sedang mahasiswa dapat mengaitkan antara materi terdahulu tetapi belum dapat menghubungkan antar konsep matematika yang dipelajari. Untuk siswa berkemampuan koneksi yang rendah terdapat mahasiswa yang tidak dapat menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan karena kurangnya pemahaman terhadap soal.

Integral is one of the main subjects in the school mathematics curriculum and is the compulsory subject in the Mathematics Education Study Program at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University, namely the Integral calculus course. Therefore the status of this material is the subject matter for SMA/MK students and students in mathematics education study programs. This study aims to discover how to develop integral calculus to improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of mathematics education students at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University. Research on the development of integral calculus teaching materials uses the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Initial and limited field trials were conducted at the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) HKBP University Nommensen Pematangsiantar. The normality analysis of gain (n-gain) in the experimental student class has increased with an average n-gain value of 0.87. Feasibility of Integral Calculus Teaching Materials Integral Calculus obtained percentage values from experts and subjects studied as follows: (1) Post-test scores reached an average of 83 compared to pretest average scores of 48, there was a significant increase. This shows an increase in learning outcomes after using the results of the product development of Integral Calculus teaching materials. Acquisition of the development value of Integral Calculus Teaching Materials has a high level of attractiveness based on the assessment of material/content experts reaching 93.75%; (2) The acquisition of the value of developing Integral Calculus has a high level of attractiveness based on the assessment of design experts getting 86.53%. Also, the importance of developing Integral Calculus has a high level of beauty based on field test assessments reaching 91%.

In the last decade, many studies on politeness in Arabic have been published on various platforms, but until now the results have not been systematically compiled and used as a module or teaching material. In addition, Arabic pragmatics teaching materials, especially regarding politeness principles and strategies, currently do not refer much to the results of the latest research, even though the results of these studies can be used as a basis in the context of applying, testing, or even developing a theoretical framework on Arabic politeness. Therefore, this study aims to design Arabic pragmatics learning modules, especially concerning politeness in Arabic by utilizing the results of these studies. It is assumed that the development of research-based learning modules can enrich learning materials with the latest findings. By utilizing content and thematic analysis, the research results are analyzed systematically and then designed as a learning module based on the lesson plan that has been set. The result shows a bunch of research about politeness in Arabic published in scientific journals and digital repositories. Almost all research refers to the remarkable theoretical framework of politeness principles proposed by Leech (1983), as well as politeness strategies proposed by Brown & Levinson (1987). Although both are relatively old-school frameworks, they still seem relevant to been implemented by some researchers to date. Furthermore, a systematic study of the results of these studies was then composed and designed into an Arabic pragmatic learning module, especially on the topic of linguistic politeness principles and strategies.
