Pengembangan Domino Pecahan Berbasis Open Ended Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Sd

Abstract: This research aims to develop an open ended domica-based cards in improving creative thinking ability of elementary school students on the material fractions and find out the results of its development. The development was done by using Plomp model which consists of: (1) the initial Investigation, (2) design, (3) the realization/construction, (4) the testing, evaluation, and revision, (5) implementation. The research subjects at the the testing, evaluation, and revision phase is 38 6th grade students of SDN Ke… Show more

“…Students who are in the category of high creative thinking are students who can estimate solutions, draw up plans, and solve these problems based on plans that have been prepared previously. Renewal in answering questions is a key characteristic of someone being creative [10]. Seen in Figure 2 which showa one of the high category student answer.…”

“…The results of this study can help teachers improve learning outcomes on students' equality of fractions. Previously ( Amir & Wardana, 2018;Baiquni, 2016;Rahaju & Hartono, 2017) used learning media that is played physically only. The previous literature does not consider its practicality (student responses to learning media) and its effectiveness.…”

“…Students tend to memorize formulas, but when the character of the questions is changed, they become confused (Tonra, 2016). Elementary school students find it difficult to produce creative solutions to fractional operations problems because their mathematical knowledge is built using memorization (Amir & Wardana, 2018). The process skills of finding concepts in elementary school students through problem-solving are also relatively low (Zhang & Rivera, 2021).…”

“…Several games have been designed and developed in various ways to provide students with enjoyment and cheerfulness while learning mathematics. Nevertheless, almost all of the developed games exclusively address mathematical contents; there was only one game created by Amir and Wardana (2017) taking mathematical skills into account. Arithmetics and geometry are by far the most popular mathematics content appears in these games.…”
