The development and learning paradigm is always followed by adjustments to the implementation of learning activities. Currently, a solution is being offered to improve the quality of learning through the implementation of kurikulum prototype. This study aims to see the potential and opportunities for product development of teaching materials based on E-Books for learning mathematics. This research belongs to the mixed methods approach. The research subjects consisted of teachers, and 42 students. While the data collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were collected with technical observations, and interviews with the instruments, namely observations and interviews. Quantitative data were collected using a non-test technique, namely a questionnaire and followed by a questionnaire as an instrument. The research data will be analyzed descriptively with interactive analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that during the implementation of learning, teachers had basically used ICT-based media which were limited to the type of presentation slides and the internet, student responses stated that they needed ICT-based teaching materials for learning mathematics (92.9%), total 90.5% of students also agrees with the development of ICT-based teaching materials in e-book format for learning mathematics, this is certainly an initiative and desire that must be realized in order to implement innovative learning. Thus, the results of this study can be used as a basis for developing an innovation through ICT-based teaching materials in e-book format to improve the learning process in vocational high schools.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dikarenakan kurang tersedianya bahan ajar matematika yang melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi kualitas pembelajaran dan pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis adalah melalui pengembangan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis Web pada materi SPLDV untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan lembar validasi dan lembar praktikalitas. Hasil validasi sebesar 88,30% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil analisis data angket respon siswa menunjukkan persentase rata-rata 89,74% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria praktis. Kepraktisan bahan ajar dibuktikan dengan ketertarikan dan kemudahan siswa menggunakan bahan ajar.Kata kunci: Bahan ajar matematika berbasis web, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV)

Limited variety in mathematics teaching methods can harm student achievement in the subject. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the impact of using e-books as a learning medium on students' critical thinking abilities. This research applies an experimental approach involving control and experimental groups. This research involved 70 vocational school students who were divided into two groups. The data collection method uses tests. The data collection instrument uses test questions. Data analysis techniques use inferential statistics. Research findings show that using e-books or digital teaching materials significantly improves students' critical thinking abilities. The conclusion that can be drawn is that e-books have proven effective in influencing and improving students' critical thinking abilities. The results of this research underline the great potential of digital learning media, such as e-books, in improving students' critical thinking skills in vocational high school environments. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to widely implement interactive media in e-book format in vocational schools to improve students' critical thinking skills to equip them to face challenges in work and entrepreneurial activities.
