This study focuses on social capital as an opportunity for community engagement in the management of methane gas (biogas) as renewable energy, which the Self Help Group carries out on the final disposal site in Supit Urang. Methane gas generated from well-managed sites can provide positive advantages that can be used as an energy source (specially for cooking) for the local community as a replacement for LPG. Community participation in biogas management from methane gasses may improve public welfare, particularly in landfill capture and distribution. The Social Networks Analysis shall be used to determine the Rate of Participation (RoP), density and centrality of group involvement. The findings of the RoP study suggest that the concentration of participant affiliation to organizations influences the low level of participation. Density analysis reveals that when the respondent follows more than one organizations and entities, network density value is high, so the respondents can be more interlinked. Centrality analysis shows that measuring degree centrality by UCINET reveals that six respondents have the same high value and the same low central value. The median centrality is 0.58, reflecting the value of respondents and organizations.

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan baru yang dihadapi Kampung Mandiangin, Kecamatan Minas, Kabupaten Siak setelah pihak kampung menerima bantuan tangki air bersih dan mesin pompa air dari Kementrian Perkerjaan Umum melalui program PAMSIMAS (Program AirBersih Masyarakat). Bentuk geografis kampung Mandiangin membuat pembangunan tangki air bersih dilakukan di lokasi yang jauh dari kantor perkampungan sekitar 1 Kilo Meter. Kondisi jalan yang kurang baik menjadi permasalahan tambahan bagi warga dalam mengelola pengoperasian tangki (penampungan) air bersih dan mesinpompa air. Permasalahan diselesaikan dengan tiga tahapan kegiatan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Persiapan dilakukan dengan melakukan obervasi dan wawancara untuk melihat kondisi dilapangan mengenai permasalahan yang ada. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mengembangkan Teknologi otomatisasi dan monitoringyang diterapkan untuk mengelola Tangki air bersih dan mengoperasikan mesin pompa air. Teknologi Otomatisasi dan monitoring dibangun dengan menggunakan perangkat utama Microcontroller Arduino UNO R3 dan ModulGSM SIM800L. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan untuk masing-masing tahap dengan mengumpulkan danmenyimpulkan data dari masing-masing tahapan kegiatan. Hasil Kegiatan dari pengembangan Teknologiotomatisasi ini menunjukkan warga tidak lagi melakukan secara manual untuk menyala/mematikan mesin pompaair serta mampu memberikan notifikasi (pemberitahuan) keadaan air pada tangki secara real time

Tosari District is one of the tourist villages in Pasuruan Regency that has potential ecotourism because it is the gateway to Mount Bromo National Park. There are protected areas with the socio-cultural values of the Tenggerese Tribe. Ecotourism is an appropriate concept because it prioritizes sustainability, environmental conservation, and the uniqueness of tourist attraction objects. Developing sustainable rural infrastructure is the key to inclusive development to improve the concept of Ecotourism, thereby increasing economic resilience and engaging community productivity. This study aims to analyze the development of rural infrastructure that can improve ecotourism management. This study uses a qualitative approach to identify problems that are closely related to the provision of the physical infrastructure to reduce disaster levels, infrastructure that can boost agricultural productivity, and social infrastructure that needs to be established for ecotourism purposes. The need for infrastructure development is translated into the provision of waste management, disaster protection infrastructure, and improvement of road and communication infrastructure. The concept of a cultural approach requires carrying out tourism operations and preserving the culture of the Tengger tribe.
