“…The development of renewable energy in Indonesia is (Halimanjaya, 2019) Consumption of new and renewable energy shows a positive relationship but does not have a significant effect on gross domestic product in Indonesia, because attention has not been maximized in the development process, it is also related to regulations and Indonesia is currently still meeting its energy demand from nonrenewable sources, (Muhammad Ferro Berlianto and Setya Wijaya, 2022). Electricity consumption has a higher and significant impact in the short term.…”

“…On the other hand, the consumption of renewable energy has continued to decline from 1990 to 2021, where the trend has decreased, this is allegedly because the capacity for renewable energy in Indonesia is still minimal and has not been able to greatly support Indonesia's sectoral economic activity, so the intensity of its use tends to be low. (Muhammad Ferro Berlianto and Setya Wijaya, 2022) Throughout 2000-2019, the consumption of renewable energy did not have a positive and significant effect on the movement of GDP growth in Indonesia, due to the lack of attention in the process of developing the development as well as related to regulations and Indonesia which is currently still meeting its energy demand from non-renewable sources.…”
