Introduction: Stress is the occurrence of the individual's emotions, thoughts, and physical conditions. Each individual has the potential to experience stress. Stress that comes from the workplace is called occupational stress. Increased blood pressure is one of the physical impacts of work stress that needs attention due to continuous increase in blood pressure will cause high blood in the worker. The purpose of this study was to describe the overview of the relationship between occupational stress and the change in blood pressure on workers. Methods: This was descriptive observational research. Respondents were 30 people (mechanics of the workshop). The variables of this research were occupational stress level and systolic blood pressure changes. The stress level was measured by using a questionnaire, while blood pressure was measured by using the tensimeter. The correlation between stress level and blood pressure was analyzed by using cross-tabulation. Result: The results showed that the percentage of respondents with moderate stress levels was higher (53.4%) compared to mild stress levels (46.6%). The percentage of respondents with increased systolic blood pressure was higher (63.3%) compared to respondents with decreased systolic blood pressure (3.4%) and constant blood pressure (33.3%). The percentage of respondents with increasing blood pressure was higher for those with moderate stress levels (93.7%) compared to those with mild stress levels (28.5%). Conclusion: It can be concluded that the higher the stress level, the higher percentage of respondents with increasing blood pressure would be.

The research aimed to determine the effect of Thai massage on fatigue recovery and blood pressure. This research was conducted at the Health and Sports Center (HSC) Therapy Clinic, Yogyakarta State University, using the pre-experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument involved a fatigue measurement scale questionnaire and a digital sphygmomanometer. The study population included patients at the Health and Sports Center Therapy Clinic, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), who complained of fatigue. The sample in this research was 30 people who were calculated using the sample size calculator program. The significance of the differences in the pretest and posttest data was obtained using a paired t-test. The results of this study showed that the average pretest fatigue score was 30.6+2.5, and the average posttest score was 24.9+2.2. The difference between the two results in a significant decrease with P=0.000 (p<0.05). The average pretest systolic score was 115.5+6.3, and the posttest was 119.5+6.3. The difference between the two was tested by paired t-test resulting in a significant increase with P=0.000 (p<0.05). The average pretest diastolic value was 79.1+7.6, and the average posttest value was 81.6+6.4. The difference between the two was tested by paired t-test resulting in a significant increase with P=0.004 (p<0.05). Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that Thai Massage can significantly reduce fatigue and increase blood pressure.

Pekerja bagian produksi adalah salah satu pekerja yang mempunyai resiko terkena tekanan darah tinggi maupun tekanan darah rendah yang sering dijumpai dalam masyarakat. Tekanan darah tinggi dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor, salah satunya adalah stres. Stres merupakan suatu respon nonspesifik dari tubuh terhadap setiap tekanan atau tuntutan yang mungkin muncul, baik dari kondisi yang menyenangkan maupun tidak menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Hubungan Antara Stress Kerja, Umur Dan Perilaku Merokok Dengan Tekanan Darah pada Pekerja Di PT.Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero) Makassar Tahun 2020 dengan menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara stres kerja dengan tekanan darah (0,003<0,005), (0,205<0,005) tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara umur dengan tekanan darah (0,863>0,005) tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara perilaku merokok dengan tekanan darah.
