This study aimed to determine the attitude of concern for the environment among the students at Pondok Pesantren Ar-Rohmah Malang. This research was an ex post facto research where the researcher reveals and describes the facts about the environmental care attitude of the students at Ar-Rohmah Islamic Boarding School Malang. The population in this study were all students of Ar-Rohmah Senior High School Malang. The sample in this study were students of class 10, 11, and 12 SMA Senior High School Ar-Rohmah Malang who were randomly selected with the number of students in each class as many as 35 students and total as many as 210 students. The results showed that in general, the students of Ar-Rohmah Senior High School Malang tend environmental care / pro-environmental attitudes rather than social paradigm attitudes. Class differences indicate a difference in the percentage of caring attitudes towards the environment. If we look at each item, based on the percentage of responses to the NEP instrument, the students of AR-Rohmah Senior High School Malang is not understood holistically on several materials such as the balance of ecosystems, the right of natural resources not to be exploited continuously, and the obligation of humans to protect the environment and cultivate it wisely.

Greywater generated from household activities in the riverbanks settlement is flowed directly into the drainage system. This research was conducted to analyze the level of pollution due to greywater flowed into drainage system in Citarum riverbanks, Kabupaten Karawang. Research was carried out on the drainage channel around settlements in 6 villages. The parameters analyzed were TSS, COD, BOD, Oil and Grease compared to the standard Minister of Environment Regulation No.68 of 2016. The TSS parameters was 11-292 mg/L, COD 28.8-441.6 mg/L, BOD 18.01-298.36 mg/L, Oil and Grease 1.9-13 mg/L. Parameter of TSS at all sampling points were exceed the quality standard, while parameters of COD and BOD were exceed in the 4 villages. Parameter of Oil and Grease at all points was above the quality standard in February, while in April, it was below the quality standard. High pollution on drainage system could be caused by the entry of greywater into the drainage channel that would contribute to pollute the Citarum River. This was occurs due to low level of knowledge and awareness in communities about pollution in the riverbanks and that there was not a proper treatment of greywater, whether in scale of household nor communal.

The final disposal site (TPA) is a place that is needed by an area, including TPA Talangagung in Malang district. the presence of a landfill in an area will bring many problems to the people who live around the landfill. One of the problems is the risk of health problems for the community around the landfill site. This study aims to determine whether there are significant risks to public health with the Talangagung Landfill. This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study is the people who live and work in TPA Talangagung Malang Regency. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire distributed to the community around the landfill site. From this data, we analyze using quantitative descriptive analysis by collecting data obtained from the community, then describing the results of the data collected as-is using a percentage formula. From the results of our analysis of the questionnaire data, there is no significant effect between public health and the Talangagung Landfill. However, it does not rule out the possibility of diseases suffered by the community around the TPA. The majority of people experience health problems such as coughs, colds, and itching. These health problems cannot be ascertained due to the influence of the Talangagung Landfill. TPA Talangagung Malang Regency in its implementation is by procedures set by the government following the Act. So that the impact caused by Talanggung TPA has no odor and does not cause environmental damage. Suggestions that can be submitted to the Department of Health and related Institutions are to monitor developments in the landfill so that the landfill waste does not damage the environment, especially not to disturb the health of the surrounding community.Keywords: Health Disorders, Landfills
