This research aims to examine how e-learning, particularly guided by self-determination theory, impacts student satisfaction by meeting their basic needs and fostering intrinsic motivation. Specifically, we investigate various factors influencing student satisfaction, the role of e-learning, and supportive elements for e-learning satisfaction, focusing on the Indonesian context where e-learning, particularly via Learning Management Systems (LMS), is prevalent in higher education. Despite the widespread use of e-learning, there is a lack of research from the students' perspective. To address this gap, we conducted a descriptive qualitative study using the LMS SPADA platform. Through interviews and observations with 40 students, we explored their experiences with e-learning. Drawing on self-determination theory, which posits autonomy, competence, and relatedness as crucial factors in motivation and satisfaction, we assessed student satisfaction with e-learning. Our findings indicate that students generally find e-learning satisfactory, provided that certain conditions, especially those related to self-determination theory variables, are met. This research underscores the importance of adequately preparing all aspects of e-learning to enhance student satisfaction. Its implications extend to educators, students, and universities utilizing e-learning, particularly those in the Indonesian higher education sector.

This study investigates the factors influencing the adoption of AI tools by examining the roles of Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) in shaping Behavioural Intention to Use (BIU) through the mediating effect of Attitude Towards Use (ATU). Drawing on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study employed Mediation Analysis through user estimand method using IBM AMOS to analyze data collected from IT professionals, Bengaluru. The findings reveal that both PU and PEOU significantly affect BIU, both directly and indirectly via ATU. These results underscore the importance of both perceived usefulness and ease of use in fostering positive user attitudes and enhancing behavioural intentions towards AI tools. The study's implications highlight the need for developers and organizations to focus on improving the functional benefits and user-friendliness of AI tools while also addressing user attitudes through comprehensive training and effective communication strategies. By understanding and leveraging these mediating pathways, organizations can better facilitate the adoption and utilization of AI technologies. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of technology acceptance and provides practical insights for promoting AI tool adoption.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, electronic wallets have emerged as a preferred alternative to traditional payment methods, mitigating physical touch concerns. This research aims to investigate the effects of security, health, and other determinants on the intention of Generation X’s members living in Java Island, Indonesia, to adopt electronic wallets in the post-pandemic era. Addressing the empirical gaps, this research examines how perceived ease of use may determine the attitude and intention to use electronic wallets, introducing novel considerations of security and health based on the Technology Acceptance Model. To collect the data, this research used the survey method by distributing the questionnaires. This research collected 363 valid responses. A partial least squares structural equation modeling method was used. The results confirmed that perceived ease of use and perceived compatibility positively affect perceived usefulness (p &lt; 0.05). Perceived usefulness, security, and health aspects were found to positively affect attitude (p &lt; 0.05). Security, perceived usefulness, and attitude were also confirmed to positively affect the intention to use electronic wallet (p &lt; 0.05). This research further found that perceived ease of use had an insignificant effect on both attitude and intention to use electronic wallet (p &gt; 0.05). Based on the testing of the mediating effect, this research confirmed that both security and health aspects positively affect the intention to use electronic wallet through attitude (p &lt; 0.05). Furthermore, perceived compatibility was not found to affect intention to use electronic wallet through perceived ease of use (p &gt; 0.05).
