This research aimed at investigating whether or not there was a significant difference on writing competency of the tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. This research was experimental research with Pre-test and Post-test Only Control Group Design and used cluster random sampling technique to determine the samples. There were two classes chosen as samples in this study. The two groups were given treatments to obtain the required data. The experimental group was taught by using Blended Learning Strategy and the control group was taught by using conventional technique. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The mean score of experimental group (81.10) was higher than the mean score of control group (78.83). Moreover, the result of inferential analysis showed that there was a significant difference on students’ writing competency between the students who were taught by using Blended Learning Strategy and those who were taught by conventional technique (Sig.(2-tailed) = 0.022, p < 0.05). The alternative hypothesis is accepted in which the students who are taught by using Blended Learning Strategy achieves better than those who are taught by using conventional technique.

In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the use of technology and the internet was almost implemented in all fields including education, especially in the learning process. The use of information technology in learning becomes a necessity because it facilitates students and lecturers in carrying out the learning process. Furthermore, problem-based learning sourced from authentic problems are effective and motivating. This study aims to explore the effective implementation of a problem-based learning implemented in a blended system, as a teaching and learning strategy toward adaptive learning method. This experimental research was followed up by identification of students' responses toward the implementation of the strategy. Respondents were 160 students taking a marketing management course; samples were selected through purposive sampling technique. Findings show that there were significant differences between control and experiment groups, confirming the higher significant progress of students learning through problem-based presented in a blended learning system than of students learning through conventional strategy. Nearly all respondents agreed that the problem-based learning presented in the blended system was interesting, motivating and assisting to gain the targeted learning outcomes. This strategy was also one step toward the implementation of adaptive learning method that put individualized learning in a computerized system.

In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the use of technology and the internet was almost implemented in all fields including education, especially in the learning process. The use of information technology in learning becomes a necessity because it facilitates students and lecturers in carrying out the learning process. This study aims to design an integrated Blended Learning model with Problem Based Learning and Practice Rehearsal Pairs to increase motivation and learning outcomes in the Marketing Management course. Besides, this study also examines the effect of implementing an integrated blended learning model on student motivation and achievement in learning outcomes. The research method used is the development method and classroom action research using a purposive sampling technique for 182 students who took the Marketing Management courses in the data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences between conventional learning and blended learning. Nearly all respondents agree that the blended learning model is more interesting and efficient when it is applied in learning. Besides, the results of hypothesis testing prove that the Blended Learning model integrated with Problem Based Learning and Rehearsal Pairs Practice has a positive and significant effect on increasing motivation and learning outcomes in the Marketing Management course.
