This study aims to determine the influence of teaching modules and learning motivation on students' learning outcomes in the subjects of Natural and Social Sciences. The research was conducted at Advent Airmadidi Elementary School with a sample of 83 fourth-grade students as respondents. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. Data on teaching modules and learning motivation variables were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires, while data on learning outcomes were obtained from the final semester's summative assessments. Data analysis techniques began with pre-requisite tests, namely tests for normality and linearity. Research hypotheses were tested using simple regression analysis for the first and second hypotheses, and multiple regressions for the third hypothesis. The research findings concluded that the categories for teaching modules and learning motivation variables were high. Through t-test calculations and significance value, it was found that there is an influence of teaching modules and learning motivation on learning outcomes significantly.Based on the analysis of F-test calculations and significance value, it was found that the multiple regression model significantly influenced teaching modules and learning motivation variables on learning outcomes. From the research results, it is concluded that to improve the learning outcomes of IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subjects for phase B students in grade four of Advent Airmadidi Elementary School, the utilization of teaching modules and learning motivation is necessary.

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using physics-based problem-solving modules in improving prospective physics teacher students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The experimental method has been used in designing the one Group Pretest-Posttest Control Groups. The research sample was all students who took the optics course. HOTS data was measured using a two-tier multiple-choice test instrument, and problem-solving ability data was measured using a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including the N-Gain test, effect size, and Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that (1) there was an increase in student HOTS after the problem-solving-based module was applied by 0.42 in the medium category, and an increase occurred in all aspects of HOTS, including analyzing, evaluating, and creating; (2) the effect of problem-solving ability on students' HOTS; and (3) the effectiveness of problem solving-based modules is 2.36 in the very effective category. The results of the study can be concluded that the problem-solving-based optical module that has been designed is very effective in increasing students' HOTS and problem-solving abilities to support student success in learning optics

The objective of this research is to find out the causes of low student learning outcomes in the Basic Physics course in the physics Education Dept. University of Mataram in 2021. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive that examines the main problems related to the difficulties of the study of physics. The research population was all students in the Physics Education Dept, University of Mataram who took the Basic Physics course. The research sample was students who took the short semester course in the Basic Physics course using the purposive sample technique. While the research instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire whose answers have been provided, so that respondents just choose the options that have been provided. The results of the analysis show that learning difficulties in studying mechanics lie in the basic mathematical abilities, namely differential and integral. Thus, teachers need to develop learning strategies so that students' thinking skills in solving problems are increasing.
