Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of PBL-STEM in improving students' critical thinking skills. Method: The method used in this research is the literature review method. A literature review is a type of research that collects data and information from various sources by collecting and analyzing. This study analyzes as many as two national and international articles that can be accounted for. The articles used were published in 2018-2022. The steps in this Literature review method are identifying topics, searching for and selecting relevant articles, analyzing and synthesizing the literature, and creating a conclusion. Results: (1) the application of the PBL model can improve students' critical thinking skills; (2) the integration of STEM in the learning process is also able to improve critical thinking skills because STEM provides opportunities for students to identify real-life problems and solve them, which is per the characteristics of PBL; (3) the integration between PBL and STEM can be applied and can provide more effective results in improving students' critical thinking skills. Novelty: ThisThis study discusses the analysis of how effective the integration of STEM and PBL from the latest journals so that this research can be used as a reference for making quality learning tools.

Peningkatan keterampilan abad 21 menjadi perhatian dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Peningkatan kompetensi ini membekali siswa dengan keterampilan untuk memenuhi tuntutan zaman dan keterampilan siswa untuk berdaya saing di masa yang akan datang. Berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan yang dapat dipraktikkan selama proses penilaian pembelajaran dengan memberikan soal-soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru IPA di Kota Pagaralam dalam membuat soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah 40 orang guru IPA yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kota Pagaralam. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring pada bulan Agustus hingga Oktober 2022. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan observasi, penyampaian materi, workshop, evaluasi, kegiatan mandiri dan pemantauan. Hasil evaluasi akhir menunjukkan 79% peserta memiliki pemahaman yang baik dan 21% peserta memiliki pemahaman yang sangat baik dalam membuat soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Selain itu, sebanyak 92,85% peserta telah dapat mengembangkan soal-soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil evaluasi kinerja juga menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan dapat diterapkan dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21.Improving 21st-century skills is the focus of today's classrooms' learning process. These skills allow students to tackle global challenges, empowering them to become more competitive in the future. Critical thinking is a skill that can be trained through the learning assessment process by asking critical thinking questions. This training on creating Critical Thinking Questions through Community Service Activities aims to enlighten Science Teachers in Pagalalam City on creating a Critical Thinking Questions tool. The target group participating in this activity was 40 science teachers in Pagaralam City. This training activity will be offline and online from June to October 2022. This activity is carried out through stages of observation, material provision, workshops, assessment, self-activity, and monitoring. As a result of the participants' final evaluation, 79% of the participants rated him in the good category, and 21% rated him in the very good category. Additionally, up to 92.85% were able to ask critical thinking questions. Activity assessment results also indicate that the training provided can be used in assessing classroom learning to improve her 21st-century skills.

This research is motivated by the lack of learning media that can facilitate students' critical thinking skills in learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Critical thinking ability is a very important competency to be developed through a scientific approach. This ability is indispensable in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of students' critical thinking skills through the application of Augmented Reality through a scientific approach. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur which consisted of 3 science classes with a total of 78 students. The samples used in this study were two classes, namely class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 3. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instruments used are description tests, observation sheets and student response questionnaires to the application of augmented reality through a scientific approach. Based on the results of analysis and calculations with hypothesis testing, the results obtained are H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills by applying Augmented Reality through a scientific approach.Keywords: Augmented Reality; scientific approach; critical thinking.
