Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is still a public health problem, and one of the biggest causes of death in Indonesia. According to BPS, the number of elderly people in 2022 is around 30 million people and in 2050 will increase by 74 million people. This demographic shift shows that the elderly are an age group that deserves attention, especially in terms of Health. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic coupled with decreased endurance and lung capacity that is not optimal, can cause the elderly to be susceptible to tuberculosis. The team of lecturers and students of FKK UMJ seeks to prevent tuberculosis by providing special education for elderly companions or caregivers at the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulya 1 social institution in East Jakarta. The event includes pre-test, education on the prevention and diagnosis of tuberculosis in the elderly, and post-test. T test results obtained p-value of 0.000, with an increase in the average knowledge after education of 6.72. It can be stated that educational activities for caregivers provide a significant increase in knowledge.

The elderly population throughout the world continues to increase every year. This makes the aging process an important social and welfare challenge for the health of older people. The health and welfare of older people cannot be separated from the support system provided by the family. The family is very important in caring for elderly people living at home. The objective of this article is to determine the effect of implementing the family care model on the health of older people. This research used a pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 158 elderly people living with families, both nuclear families and extended families. The measuring instruments used in this research were a sphygmomanometer to measure the physical health of older people and the Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE) for the mental health of the elderly, which was then analyzed using the paired t-test. The results of the study showed that the physical health of older people, the mean (SD) value for pre-post systolic blood pressure was 158.1 (14,461) - 144.56 (11,816), and for pre-post diastolic blood pressure was 86.77 (4,824) - 77.41 (5,884), while mental health elderly people obtained pre-post results of 20.08 (1.963) – 24.24 (1.982), with different test results obtained a p-value of 0.0001. The family care model's implementation for older people influences the health of the elderly, both physically and mentally.

Family Support for Anxiety Facing Menarche in School-Age Children

The first menstruation (menarche) in early adolescents causes anxiety. Family support is needed in dealing with adolescent anxiety so that young women are ready to face menarches such as knowledge, age, self-perception, and attitudes. The research design is quantitative and descriptive using a correlational approach. This research was conducted in July - August 2022. The number of samples in this research was 50 people. Based on a family support survey conducted by SMP Negeri 29 Semarang for grade 7 students, 27 (54.0%) and 28 (56.0%) respondents had anxiety about family support. Based on the Spearman Rank test results, it has a p = 0.013, p a (0.013 0.05). The calculated coefficient value is 0.350 (35.0%), indicating a negative relationship. The degree of increase in the number of respondents increased directly proportional to the ratio of family support. Most respondents have moderate family support, namely 27 respondents (54.0%). The school hopes that the research findings will be able to become reproductive health learning materials or materials, given the importance of education related to reproductive health.
