PENGARUH KONSENTRASI ETANOL TERHADAP AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK DAUN SIRIH MERAH (Piper crocatum Ruitz & Pav) MENGGUNAKAN METODE MICROWAVE ASSISTED EXTRACTION (MAE)

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the effect of ethanol concentration on antioxidant activity and to obtain the highest antioxidant activity in red betel leaves extract using the MAE method. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with an ethanol concentration treatment consisting of five levels, namely 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, and 90%. All treatments were repeated three times to obtain 15 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed by variance and if the trea… Show more

“…Thus, it will increase directly proportional to the increase in power, and concentration. This is by following per under research conducted by [22] the higher the ethanol concentration, the higher the total phenol e-ISSN: 2746-2544, p-ISSN: 2746-3257 obtained. The increase in ethanol concentration is directly proportional to the total phenol obtained [23].…”

“…One of the plants to help the wound healing process is the binahong plant. The binahong plant contains flavonoids, allenolic acid, protein, saponins, and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) which can increase the body's resistance to infection, function in maintaining mucous membranes, accelerate wound healing, and act as an antioxidant (Hanum & Liesmayani, 2020;Nisa et al, 2014).…”
