It is necessary to increase the production of water spinach in Malang City because it has decreased. One way to do this is to apply urea fertilizer because it contains a lot of N elements, so it is good for the growth process of kale because it is harvested during the vegetative period. The purpose of this study was to find out the appropriate dose of urea fertilizer and how to apply the appropriate urea fertilizer to the growth and yield of watercress plants. This research was conducted in the research area of the Islamic University of Malang. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with control. The first factor was the dose of urea fertilizer: D1 = 50 kg/ha, D2 = 100 kg/ha, and D3 = 150 kg/ha. The second factor was the method of administration: C_1 = by immersion and C_2 = by dilution and control = without urea fertilizer. The observed data were analyzed for variance (F test) and continued with the 5% BNJ test. To find out the optimal dose, a regression test was carried out. The results showed that there was an interaction with the combination of 150 kg/ha fertilizer dose by pouring (D3C2) with a plant height of 32.06 cm. A Fertilizer dose of 50 kg/ha by immersion method (D1C1) gave the best effect on total plant fresh weight (106.08 g) and total plant dry weight (19.43 g). Giving a dose of 100 kg/ha increased the total fresh weight of plants with a weight of 107.62 g. Based on the results of the regression test, the optimum dose of urea fertilizer was 97.05 kg/ha. The addition of urea fertilizer using by immersion method increased the leaf area index (4.30) and stover dry weight (7.44 g).

Green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is a popular vegetable among the people. Green mustard leaves are commonly used as complementary ingredients such as chicken noodle, meatballs, etc. These vegetables are easily accessible to traditional markets, supermarket, and mall. The main obstacle in cultivating green mustard is Plutella xylostella attack. P. xylostella pests can attack both vegetative and generative, striking at the shoots and leaves of plants from breeding to harvesting. One of the effective and safe controls is the bioinsecticide Bacillus thuringiensis. Tukungan soil is a swamp land management technology that aims to diversify commodities that can be planted. This technology is very helpful in utilizing and maximizing existing agricultural land, especially in South Kalimantan. The bioinsecticide material used is a strain of B. thuringiensis which is the Turex WP. This research aims to determine the best dose of bioinsecticide B. thuringiensis (Turex WP) in controlling P. xylostella pests, increasing growth and yield of green mustard in tukungan soils. The research used a one-factor randomized block design, namely the dose of bioinsecticide (Turex WP) consisting of five treatments: p0 = 0 g/L, p1 = 0.5 g/L, p2 = 1 g/L, p3 = 1.5 g/L, and p4 = 2g/L. The results showed that the bioinsecticide B. thuringiensis (Turex WP) with a dose of 2 g/L was effective in controlling P. xylostella pests, increasing growth and yield of green mustard in tukungan soils.

Tanaman nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth) merupakan tanaman perkebunan penghasil minyak atsiri, dan memiliki fungsi utama sebagai bahan baku pengikat (fiksasif). Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman nilam adalah kurangnya unsur hara dan jarak tanam saat penanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan pupuk cair supratan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman nilam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan September 2021 di Desa Kabua-Bua, Kecamatan Nuhon, Kabupaten Banggai. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial. Faktor pertama konsentrasi pupuk cair supratan (A) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf dan faktor kedua adalah jarak tanam (B) yang juga terdiri dari 3 taraf. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang 3 kali sehingga seluruhnya terdapat 27 percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan interaksi jarak tanam 5 mL pupuk Cair Supratan /Liter air + Jarak tanam 40cm x 50cm (A3B1) merupakan perlakuan terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah tunas pada umur tanaman 6, 8 dan 10 MST dan perlakuan 5 mL pupuk Cair Supratan /Liter air (A3) merupakan perlakuan terbaik terhadap variabel jumlah tunas pada umur tanaman 12, 14, 16, 18, dan 20 MST. Pada pengamatan variabel jumlah daun, perlakuan interaksi jarak tanam 5 mL pupuk Cair Supratan /Liter air + Jarak tanam 40cm x 60cm (A3B2) merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada umur tanaman 8 MST, dan perlakuan jarak tanam 40cm x 70cm (B3) merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada umur tanaman 10 dan 12 MST. Selain itu, perlakuan 5 mL pupuk Cair Supratan /Liter air (A3) merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada umur tanaman 16, 18 dan 20 MST
