This research derived from the phenomenon that men of Toba Batak must be respected more and are treated differently from women. To define the truth of the phenomenon this study analysed the ideology of Toba Batak; dalihan na tolu which is composed by (1) somba marhula-hula, (2) elek marboru, and (3) manat mardongan tubu by analysing the syntactic and semantic structure of it and adapted the ecolinguistic approach to defined man and woman identity by Arran Stibbe. The syntactic and semantic analysis on dalihan na tolu defined the identity of men and women as follows: (a) men as brothers in Toba-Batak community are leader, decision makers, they are positioned the highest in the ideology and have more arguments in doing their responsibility to love sisters. (b) Women as sisters in Toba-Batak community are the second position in the ideology and for both syntactic and semantically are proved have to be strictly respect brothers, they have less argument to do it. However, men and women of Toba-Batak, due to their contribution to ‘manat mardongan tubu’ are positioned the same.

Prostitusi online merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan Pekerja Seks Komersial (PSK) melalui media sosial untuk mempromosikan diri mereka secara bebas dalam bertransaksi, komunikasi dengan seseorang yang ingin menggunakan jasanya. PSK menggunakan aplikasi chat seperti Line atau Whatsapp setelah ada kesepakatan maka disepakati tempat dan waktu bertemu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor–faktor penyebab terjadinya prostitusi online di Banyumas dan untuk mengetahui penanggulangan prostitusi online yang telah dilakukan oleh Polresta Banyumas. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan yuridis sosiologis, bersifat deskriptif, Lokasi Penelitian di wilayah hukum Polresta Banyumas. Pengumpulan data primer dengan wawancara, data sekunder studi kepustakaan. Data disajikan dalam bentuk uraian, data di analisis secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, faktor–faktor penyebab terjadinya prostitusi online di Banyumas yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yaitu faktor yang berasal dari diri wanita itu sendiri antara lain karena rasa frustasi yang disebabkan oleh kondisi keluarga yang tidak harmonis karena ekonomi yang tidak berkecukupan, serta akibat perceraian sehingga wanita menjadi korban yang rawan terjerumus dalam prostitusi. Faktor eksternal adalah faktor dari luar wanita yang mempengaruhinya untuk melakukan pelacuran, pengaruh lingkungan pergaulan, dan kegagalan kehidupan keluarga atau perceraian. Penanggulangan prostitusi online yang telah dilakukan oleh Polresta Banyumas, yaitu penanggulangan secara preemtif, preventif, represif dan kuratif. Sedangkan hambatan yang dihadapai Polresta Banyumas dalam penanggulangan prostitusi online adalah dari aspek struktur, substansi, dan kultur.Kata Kunci: Prostitusi Online, Penanggulangannya, Perspektif Kriminologi.

These research aim to describe and analyze what are the factors behind a person's choosing to become Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs). In addition, this observation also aims to find out how people's perceptions or views about the existence of these CSWs around the community and their impact as well as what efforts have been made to eradicate this CSW in its shelter. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The object of research is the CSWs and the surrounding community. The sample used was purposive sampling, which is sampling based on specific objectives and considerations. Data collection techniques using interview techniques to informants conducted by non-participant observation which only observes and makes observations and documentation. Whereas to analyze the data used an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study that the authors found in the field that the dominant factor that causes a person to work as a prostitute are economic factors. Economic factors in this case are difficult to meet their daily needs because there are no jobs that generate enough money to meet their daily needs. In addition to economic factors, there are also other factors such as the difficulty of finding work, low levels of education, income factors become more adequate sex workers to meet the needs and family factors.
