The focused aim of this paper is to utilize review/concept methods of research to elucidate drug abuse and its effects on education. The paper, therefore, explains drug abuse under the following: Negative effects on academic performance, elicitation of malnutrition, instigation of ill-health, causing absenteeism, factors increasing drug abuse, features of drug abusers, theories, causes, effects, and prevention. Indeed, drug abuse education in many ways, to save many of our youngsters interventions are needed. The research methodology employed a systematic literature review approach, which involved identifying, selecting, and analyzing relevant academic sources pertaining to the impact of drug abuse on school children. The initial step included searching of various databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and academic library catalogs using keywords related to drug abuse, elementary education, and child development. Following the search process, articles were screened based on inclusion criteria, including publication date, relevance to the research topic, and methodological rigor. Subsequently, the selected literature was synthesized to identify common themes, patterns, and findings regarding the adverse effects of drug abuse on academic performance, social behavior, and overall well-being among elementary school students. The results of the literature review underscored the urgent need for targeted prevention and intervention strategies to address the multifaceted challenges posed by drug abuse in elementary school settings.

Religious character education is one of the characters that need to be developed in students in cultivating behavior in accordance with Islamic religious teachings which are based on the Qur'an and Hadith. There are many students who act not in accordance with Islamic religious values that apply both at school and in society. So religious character education needs to be implemented and realized. One important factor in growing the religious character of students is religious habituation. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effects of religious habituation in the formation of religious character at MI Maliaul Hikam. This research is qualitative research in which the data collected is not in the form of numbers but data comes from interview scripts, field notes, personal documents, memo notes, and other official documents carried out at MI Malihatul Hikam validly and can be accounted for. Activities before to after learning are an effective way of habituation to being able to foster the religious character of students, religious habituation activities can be trained and accustomed to every day. The results of religious habituation which are carried out every day and are repeated will always be embedded and can be remembered by students so that it is easy to do them without having to be warned again by the teacher.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of differentiated learning in the context of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Elementary Schools. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is used to identify and analyze related research findings from various sources. The SLR results highlight that the application of differentiated learning can make a positive contribution to increasing student understanding and achievement in Islamic Education. Learning differentiation through the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum approach can facilitate the individual needs of students, thus creating an inclusive and responsive learning environment. In order to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Education in Elementary Schools, this study suggests the application of a broader and measurable differentiated strategy in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The findings of this study can provide practical guidance for educators, curriculum developers, and education policies in optimizing learning methods to achieve holistic Islamic education goals at the elementary level.
