This paper was follow-up research of the author’s dissertation entitled, "Homicide by Wife in the Context of Domestic Violence: Case Studies of Convicted 4 Female Perpetrators in Women Prisons in Bandung, Indonesia." The findings from the dissertation showed that, in a normative manner, a wife who committed homicide against her husband was guilty and violated the criminal law regardless of the motive behinds it. Using feminist research and qualitative approach, the author argued that women (wives) who killed their partners in response to domestic violence were also victims. Therefore, imprisonment was not appropriate for them. This article discussed the public’s perception on women committing homicide in response to domestic violence by exploring the reasons why women engaged in such acts, rehabilitation measures, lenient treatment, and protection programs for women who committed homicide in reaction to domestic violence. Based on these discussions, the author concluded that a specific policy was necessary in Indonesia to regulate alternative intervention programs for women (wives) who commit homicide to their partners in reaction to domestic violence. The intervention programs shall include social work penalty and rehabilitation measures as well as implementation procedures, success indicator measurement, and evaluation criteria to see the implications of the policy.

Marital rape is one of the sexual violence against women (wives). The study's focus was to analyze the relationship between rape in marriage and women's awareness during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses library research that is representative and relevant to the research object. Regarding the feminist consciousness, many women do not realize that women end up helpless and fight when they are not good, including experiencing marital rape. The problem is the case not recorded, and the victim does not receive protection and their rights. The feminist consciousness of women can open women's eyes that there is sexual violence against women through marital rape. Furthermore, women can be aware of these cases, especially so as not to experience the same thing, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Then, women are empowered and protected from marital rape.

Kajian mengenai kekerasan rumah tangga terhadap istri yang terepresentasi pada film sudah banyak dilakukan. Namun, penelitian kekerasan terhadap suami pada film masih jarang dilakukan. Laki-laki selalu digambarkan maskulin. Sehingga, ketika laki-laki ditampilkan menjadi korban kekerasan, penonton menganggapnya sesuatu yang wajar. Tujuan dari peneliti ini adalah menjelaskan kekerasan terhadap laki-laki dalam rumah tangga yang direpresentasikan Film Darlings (2022). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semiotika karya Roland Barthes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan langsung yang terdapat Film Darling (2022) yakni kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis, dan penelantaran terhadap suami. Selain itu, juga terdapat kekerasan kultural pada film ini.
