The aim of this study is to investigate various programs or activities that are able to help the development of elementary school students, especially in the aspect of emotional maturity at the orphanage. The scope of the research was carried out at an orphanage for orphans at the Elementary School (SD) level, that focus on the program emotional maturity building This study uses analytical qualitative descriptive method using collecting data techniques such as, interviews, observations, and writing documents with the help of Miles and Huberman data analysis technique such as data collection, data reduction, data display and conslusion. It was found that the emotional maturity program fused with formal and non-formal activities, activities to mature children's emotions according to their age operated in form of daily habits and routines. Emotional maturity programs that are applied in form of formal activities in the school, for example: 1. Tahsin and tahfidz, 2. Positive selftalk, and 3. Ekspresif art theraphy. The emotional maturity program which applied in non formal activities in dormitories, for example: 1. Morning and evening wirid dzikir of ma'tsurat and asmaul husna, 2. Sunnah practices (qiyyamullail, rawatib, duha, and fasting), 3. Sunnah sports (swimming, archery and horse riding), 4. Dormitory recreation, 5. Writing diary. From this study, it is concluded that the emotional maturity program at the Orphans Boarding School Mabda Islam was instilled in both formal and non-formal daily activities, with the goal being that all students have mature development at each phase, especially in the aspect of emotional maturity, so that they get preventive action as a provision to prevent negative behavioral impact when they stepped on adolescence.
