The science literacy skills of students in Indonesia are very concerning, the cause is that students are not accustomed to working on questions based on science literacy, so it is necessary to have a standardized assessment instrument based on chemical literacy that can measure the level of achievement of scientific identification and interpret science/chemistry learning. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of chemical literacy-based assessment instrument items of reaction rate material with a classical test theory approach. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 80 class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Takalar students. Data were analyzed using the ITEMAN 4.3 program. Based on the results of the analysis, a reliability coefficient of 0.834 was obtained, the level of favorability of 87% of the items was in the moderate category, and 13% was in the difficult category. In the difference test, as many as 73% of the items are in the very good category, and for the distractor test, 93% of all items have shown distractors that function properly, so it can be concluded that overall the items have high reliability and good item characteristics.

Abstract: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembang yang bertujuan untuk: mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah 35 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Majene. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi lembar kerja peserta didik, kuesioner respon guru dan respon peserta didik, serta instrumen tes hasil belajar fisika. Kriteria kelayakan LKPD dilihat dari aspek validasinya. Kriteria kepraktisannya dilihat dari penilaian respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik, dan kriteria efektivitasnya dilihat dari peningkatan hasil tes belajar fisika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh simpulan: (1) LKDP yang dikembangkan, berdasarkan penilaian pakar dengan menggunakan analisis indeks Aiken V dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan dengan revisi kecil; (2) LKPD ditinjau dari respon guru fisika berada pada kategori sangat baik; (3) LKPD ditinjau dari respon peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik; (4) penerapan LKPD dilihat dari kemampuan hasil belajar fisika yang dianalisis dengan N-gain diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 0,7 berada pada kategori tinggi yang berarti bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan hasil belajar fisika sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Majene.

Biological literacy is the individual's ability to determine the prior knowledge to understand the terms, concepts, procedural, benefits, and relationships of biological sciences in life. This study aims to measure students' biological literacy skills. This study approach was conducted descriptively, with grades, levels, and material indicators utilized to assess biological literacy skills. The population in this study was students from grade X Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Baitul Qurro Islamic Senior High School, with a sample size of 44 students drawn from the overall population. The instrument employed was a multiple-choice with up to 15 items about viruses related concepts. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study revealed that 50% of students have low biology literacy skills. The highest percentage of students' biological literacy skills was found in indicator 4 (interpreting the role of viruses in life), 61%, while the lowest was in indicator 3 (analyzing virus replication), with 42%. The percentage of students' literacy skills in each level of biological literacy was highest at the structural level, with 58%, while the lowest was at the nominal level, with 44%. The low level of student biological literacy indicates that research is needed to find the right strategy to improve biological literacy skills in learning.
