Kebutuhan akses internet saat ini sudah menjadi bagian yang diperlukan setiap saat, sehingga perlunya ketersediaan akses internet yang selalu stabil dalam kondisi apapun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teknik load balancing metode Per Connection Classifier (PCC) untuk pembagian beban kerja web server. Teknik load balancing metode PCC pada penelitian ini dengan membagi bandwith dari Internet Service Provider (ISP) yang digunakan secara seimbang menjadi dua jalur untuk server utama dan server backup. Analisis data untuk memperoleh nilai optimasi teknik load balancing dengan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) menggunakan Network Protocol Analyzer yang terpasang di komputer client meliputi nilai delay, throughput, jitter, dan packet loss. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan setelah menggunakan teknik load balancing metode PCC terdapat peningkatkan pembagian beban kerja web server menghasilkan kategori baik atau bagus untuk semua paramater Qos, yaitu rata-rata delay sebesar 176,4808 ms, rata-rata jitter sebesar 25,0039 ms, rata-rata throughput sebesar 91,1667% dan rata-rata packet loss sebesar 1,3333%.

Internet virtual classes as a substitute for face-to-face learning are becoming common use in schools during the pandemic, which activities outside the home is restricted. SMP Tunas Bangsa has an internet hotspot to access Zoom as a virtual class while browsing activities carried out by the teachers. Diverse activities and high traffic loads cause internet traffic congestion and frequent connection failures. The hotspot requires bandwidth management and access restrictions in order to efficient internet usage. Bandwidth management is carried out by the method Per Connection Queue (PCQ), and access restrictions are carried out with the firewall mangle. Mikrotik router OS configuration in practice manages bandwidth starting with connection marks and packet marks to separate connections to the router, through the router, and from the router to the internet. The parameter used to distinguish the traffic is the IP address which is grouped in dst-address and src-address to fulfill the pcq-classifier. Meanwhile, the blocking of access to streaming activities and online games is intended so the teachers only access related to education matters. To determine the success of the configuration, the Quality of service was calculated both before and after configuration. The results of the QoS throughput parameter which increased from 4.39% to 84.99%, the delay decreased from 462.52 ms to 146.87ms, and packet loss decreased from 27.94% to 0% on the network.

The internet is a primary need for all people. Many companies integrate Web sites with back-office systems such as databases. The problem that occurs is that the utilization of the two internet lines is less than optimal and efficient. This happens because the two lines are not in the same network. Likewise at PT. ICC Export, it can be seen from the two internet lines that are not managed and go directly to the switch. so that there is often a buildup of internet traffic on one line, resulting in slow internet access. When one internet line is disconnected, the internet connection will automatically be disconnected because the modem is not managed by the router, so it can't back up automatically. The purpose of making load balancing and failover at PT. ICC Export to try a solution if one of the two internet lines is dead, is the other line active and if both lines are active then they can run together. The result is the implementation of load balancing using the PCC method on the GNS3 application successfully spreading the number of connection loads on all ISP gateways used in a balanced way, the fail over technique works well, when one of the gateways is disconnected or experiencing connection problems, all internet connection loads will be transferred automatically to another active gateway.
