Pd/C-catalyzed reactions of HMF: decarbonylation, hydrogenation, and hydrogenolysis

Abstract: The diverse reactivity of 5-hydroxymethylfural (HMF) in Pd/C-catalyzed reactions is described with emphasis on the role of additives that affect selectivity.
