Passive Microwave Radiometry (MWR) and Mirna for Breast Cancer Diagnostics

Abstract: Breast cancer prevention is very important for a woman's health worldwide. We have demonstrated a correlation between mammography and ultrasound with diagnoses using passive microwave radiometry (MWR) and a miRNA oncopanel. While mammography screening dynamics could be completed in 3-6 months, MWR will provide us with a prediction in a matter of weeks or even days with the potential for complementary miRNA diagnostics.
