Človeško bitje je rojeno v predmetni svet in z odraščanjem naraščajo tudi njegovo znanje, spomini, čustva in vrednote, povezane s predmeti. Ti v življenju posameznika nimajo le praktične, to je funkcionalne vrednosti, marveč pomembno povezovalno, pa tudi ločevalno vlogo. Pomen predmetov je odvisen predvsem od njih samih in od kontekstov, od tega, kdo jih izdela in kako, kako se uporabljajo, sprejemajo ali odklanjajo, izboljšujejo, spreminjajo in prenašajo. Nekateri med njimi imajo za posameznika in skupnost posebno funkcijo: delujejo kot znaki, s katerimi sporočajo vrednote, nazore, družbeni in ekonomski položaj, etnično pripadnost, verovanje in drugo. Zaradi tega daje materialna kultura vedno zanesljive podatke o ljudeh -o nas samih, pa tudi o drugih, danes, v preteklosti in tudi v prihodnosti, tako kot npr. predmeti v muzejih, v trgovinah ali v domačih omarah. Tudi v sodobnosti, v času širitve pomena virtualnega sveta, so predmeti pomemben del naše eksistence in komunikacije, so vidni, zelo povedni in razumljivi indikatorji, kaj smo.Zanimanje za materialno kulturo in preučevanje predmetov je staro toliko, kolikor je star interes za ljudi kot posameznike in skupnosti. Že med začetniki evropske etnologije je bilo živo tudi zanimanje za predmete in materialno kulturo. Kaj so imeli ljudje oblečeno, kako in kje so živeli ter stanovali, kaj je sestavljalo njihove jedilne obroke, katere in kakšne so bile njihove značilne praznične jedi ter katera orodja in pripomočke so uporabljali pri delu, so samo nekatera vprašanja, ki so jih preučevali narodopisci in etnologi v dolgi zgodovini raziskovanja tega področja.

Cheese as a Tourism Resource in Russia: The First Report and Relevance to Sustainability

Cheese tasting attracts crowds of visitors to areas in countries such as France, Italy, Spain, and New Zealand, distinguishing cheese tourism as an individual tourism direction within food (gastronomic, culinary) tourism. Internationally known, but locally specific and artisanal cheese is thought to be the main resource. Its exploitation by the tourism industry contributes to sustainability, supporting rural lifestyles and facilitating the integration of rural traditions, heritage, and natural landscapes. In Russia, cheese production is concentrated in regions including Altay, Voronezh, and Moscow. The state of tourist activities favors the use of cheese as a valuable tourism resource. Importantly, this resource is linked to the production of common sorts of cheese in big (industry-scale) amounts and the creation of cheese-related attractions like cheese museums. Cheese festivals also take place locally. A comparison to the European experience of cheese tourism reveals significant peculiarities of this activity in Russia and, particularly, a bigger relevance to industrial tourism than to food and rural tourism. Realization of only part of the opportunities linked to cheese tourism presents challenges regarding environmental and socioeconomical sustainability.

These include a study of heritage tourism through an analysis of tourist events (Habinc 2013(Habinc , 2014 and an analysis of the practice of alpine dairy farming as a subsistence strategy and a heritage practice (Ledinek Lozej 2013). In addition, it also includes the study of the range of actors/ stakeholders involved in the conservation of heritage in museums and collections (Hudales 2015).…”

Triglavski narodni park akTerji, sTraTegije, problemi, rešiTve jurij FikFak in TaTiana bajuk senčar Avtorja uvodnega besedila zarisujeta kratko zgodovino raziskave Triglavskega narodnega parka, ki je bila osredinjena na različnost in večdimenzionalnost dediščinskih praks med deležniki v narodnem parku in drugimi socialnimi akterji. Opišeta in tematizirata prispevke raziskovalcev v kontekstu projektne konfiguracije. V razpravah, objavljenih v reviji Traditiones in drugod so raziskovalci in raziskovalke osvetlili nekatera ključna vprašanja in kulturno značilne in pomembne procese; s tem tudi prispevajo k globljemu razumevanju vsakdanjega življenja v Triglavskem narodnem parku kot zaščitenem območju. ključne besede: zaščiteno območje, Triglavski narodni park, naravna dediščina, kulturna dediščina, dediščinjenje, konflikti The authors of this introductory text present a brief history of the Triglav National Park research project, aimed at examining the diversity and multidimensionality of heritage practices among existing park stakeholders and social actors. In these articles, the project researchers succeed in highlighting the key issues and culturally significant processes that contribute to a deeper understanding of everyday life in Triglav National Park as a protected area.
