Abstract:Introduction: Endophthalmitis is an inflammation of the intraocular tissues and fluid, and an emergency in ophthalmology. One of the most common causes of endophthalmitis is post-traumatic endophthalmitis. Post-traumatic endophthalmitis has a poorer prognosis than post-cataract surgery endophthalmitis.
