Now all over the world there is a shift in the learning paradigm towards increasingly modern learning, the problems faced in Indonesia are very different from those in other countries. The need to accelerate spatial planning is increasingly needed day by day, but the lack of use of high resolution satellite imagery (CSRT) is very minimal because many still prefer to use aerial photography, even though satellite imagery has now developed rapidly and has an accuracy of 0.5 meters/centi, to obtain The data that I will use, I use the Mendeley software platform, and also search for several scientific journals from existing websites. The results that I got from the research study that I wrote as stated above is the importance of maximizing the use and utilization of images. This scientific study can conclude that the use of satellite imagery is no less important than aerial photography which requires more time in the field, the use of satellite imagery is a way to obtain information about the earth's surface from a certain distance. The concept is simple: if you observe a landscape object but it is still unclear, change perspective by standing up to see the object more clearly.

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is the main food commodity for most of Indonesia’s population. The existence of irrigation areas dramatically affects the water demand in each phase of rice growth. Due to a lack of remote sensing knowledge, classifying the rice growth phase is done manually. This study aims to classify rice growth phases using the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm in the irrigation area of the Seulimuem Sub-District. This research uses Google Earth satellite imagery in November 2021 through three stages: multi-resolution segmentation, guided classification, and accuracy testing. The results showed that the paddy and non-paddy fields are 1,425.56 ha and 6,581.70 ha, respectively. The classification results of rice plant growth phases consist of 4 phases, namely the inundation phase, the vegetative phase, the generative phase, and the fallow phase. Based on the accuracy assessment results in November 2021, the overall accuracy ranged from 90.65% to 92.92%, with a kappa index value of 0.85 to 0.87, categorizing it as “almost perfect.”

Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Sekaroh

Perubahan tutupan lahan di kawasan hutan menyebabkan perubahan struktur baik vertikal maupun horizontal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perubahan tutupan lahan di Kawasan RTK 15 Sekaroh pada rentang waktu tahun 1990, 2000, 2013, dan 2020. Metode yang digunakan yaitu maximum likelihood classification, dimana metode tersebut mengklasifikasikan citra berdasarkan kemiripan spektrum citra dengan kondisi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perubahan tutupan lahan di Kawasan RTK 15 Sekaroh dari rentang waktu tahun 1990 ke tahun 2020 yaitu pada kelas tutupan hutan lahan kering primer menurun sebanyak 21,14%, kelas tutupan hutan lahan kering sekunder menurun sebanyak 16,97%, kelas tutupan semak belukar menurun sebanyak 19,53%, kelas tutupan hutan mangrove primer menurun sebanyak 2,34%, kelas tutupan hutan mangrove sekunder meningkat sebanyak 1,25%, kelas tutupan pertanian lahan kering meningkat sebanyak 30,78%, kelas tutupan pertanian lahan kering campur meningkat sebanyak 25,75%, kelas tutupan pemukiman/lahan terbangun meningkat sebanyak 4,62%, dan kelas tutupan lahan terbuka menurun sebanyak 9,08%.
