Abstract: Paracoccidioidomycosis is a systemic mycosis caused by the fungus Paracoccidioides brasiliensis that is characterized by polymorphous clinical manifestations principally affecting the skin, mucous membranes, lungs, lymph nodes, adrenal glands and the central nervous system.
