Palatoplastia com biomembrana natural de látex com polilisina 0,1% em cães com defeito palatino experimentalmente induzido

Abstract

ResumoA palatoplastia é uma cirurgia de correção para restabelecer o isolamento entre as cavidades oral e nasal impedindo assim que alimentos sejam aspirados. O tamanho da fenda limita seu fechamento, mas existem várias técnicas descritas para isso, a maioria, realizadas com retalhos autólogos da mucosa do palato, ou ainda enxertos e próteses. Trabalhos científicos realizados com a Biomembrana Natural de Látex com Polilisina 0,1% tornaram conhecidas suas propriedades de favorecimento e aceleração do processo cicatricial, de estimulação da neovascularização, de crescimento tecidual organizado em diferentes órgãos e tecidos e de biocompatibilidade. Foi provocado um defeito no palato secundário de sete cães, dos quais, cinco foram recobertos com a biomembrana de látex, os outros (dois) foram escolhidos como controle e tiveram o fechamento por segunda intenção. No período pós-operatório foram realizadas observações clínicas e macroscópicas para avaliação dos resultados. A membrana foi um fator de aceleração do processo de reparação, visto que os animais do grupo controle demoraram mais tempo para ter o defeito totalmente fechado em relação aos outros. There are many techniques to repair palatal defects, and the most used is mucoperiosteal flap. Grafts and prothesis, can be used too. Scientific works with Natural Latex Biomembrane with 0,1% Polylisine reveals properties like biocompatibility, improve and accelerate the cicatricial process, the stimulation of new vessels and organized tissue growth in different organs. Seven dogs were arranged in two groups and were submitted to experimental hard palate cleft. Five dogs received palatal repair with the natural latex biomembrane with 0,1% polylisine. Two animals did not receive any repair (control group) and the defect healing by second intention. After surgery, the groups were observed macroscopically and clinically to evaluate the results. The healling of cleft palate of group I was faster than control group, and this fact suggests that the biomembrane is an accelerator factor for cicatricial process.
