Abstract:Quantum dot light ‐emitting diodes (QLEDs) show great potential in the display and solid‐state lighting fields. However, the more mature cadmium‐based quantum dots and perovskite nanocrystals contain elements such as cadmium and lead, which pose a greater threat to the environment and human health and limit their larger‐scale applications.
