“…Naphthylmedetomidine, at comparable doses, does not produce the large and widespread effects seen with full and highly specific α 2 ‐AR agonists such as medetomidine or dexmedetomidine [7, 23]. Recently, we described its behavioral profile in mice [18] and its effect on the cardiorespiratory functions in rabbits [19].
