P‐118: Ellipsoidal Light Diffusing Film with Narrow Louver Micro Structure of Refractive index

Abstract: Optical diffusers consisting of a microstructured refractive index are promising materials because of their unique optical properties. Existing Anisotropic diffusers formed of such films merely have straight-line diffusion properties, and exhibit very little ellipticity. Here we describe ellipsoidal diffuser films, together with a method to control the ellipticity. Author KeywordsOptical diffuser; Microstructured refractive indeces; Elipsoidal diffusion film; Narrow louver micro structure.

“…When the mixture is irradiated with the UV light, the monomer with higher reactivity aggregates at the upper side of the mixture and photopolymerization of the monomer with higher reactivity is promoted under the aggregates. Consequently, the alternating polymer layers structure is formed by separating from the other monomer with lower reactivity [18], [19].…”
