Oxygenated versus non‐oxygenated flush out and storage of donor livers: An experimental study

Abstract: Background: During donor organ procurement and subsequent static cold storage (SCS), hepatic adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels are progressively depleted, which contributes to ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI).
