OVARIAN VENOUS BLOOD Po2, Pco2 AND pH IN WOMEN

Abstract: Measurements of Po2, Pco2 and pH have been carried out in human ovarian venous, peripheral venous and arterial blood, and in ovarian follicular fluid. The Po2 in ovarian venous blood is higher than in peripheral venous blood. Mean oxygen consumption by the human ovary has been calculated to be 1\m=.\4ml oxygen/100 g ovarian tissue/min.
