Autoclave devices are used to perform high‐temperature sterilization processes under pressure. Autoclaves can be integrated with an absorption refrigeration cycle to utilize the waste heat generated at high temperature during the process. Today, many studies are carried out on the evaluation of energy resources. In this study, it is designed to obtain a cooling load by adding an integrated sub‐cycle to the waste steam heat of the autoclave device in a sterilization unit. In the lower cycle, the ammonia/water absorption refrigeration cycle is used. According to the energy analysis; With the condition that the cooling temperature is 7°C, the generator temperature of 95°C and a cooling load of 130.9 W occurred with 531.7 W of waste heat received by the absorption cooling system. Accordingly, an efficiency of COP 0.246 was obtained. The energy analysis of the absorption refrigeration cycle can improve the energy efficiency of the autoclave and save energy. In addition, the obtained cooling load will be preserved in medical supplies that need to be kept cold.

ÖzSürdürülebilir turizm, destinasyonların uzun vadede rekabet avantajı kazanmasında önemli bir etken olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yerel halkın sürdürülebilir turizmin gelişimine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir. Çalışmada ayrıca katılımcıların demografik özelliklerine göre sürdürülebilir turizmin boyutlarına bakış açılarında farklılık olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda önemli bir turizm destinasyonu olan Düzce ili Akçakoca ilçesinde yaşayan katılımcılar üzerinde bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada anket formu aracılığı ile 382 katılımcıdan veriler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler kullanılarak yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda, sürdürülebilir turizmin gelişimine yönelik yerel halkın tutumlarına ilişkin altı boyut tespit edilmiştir. Bu boyutlar, çevresel sürdürülebilirlik, planlama, halkın turizme katılımı, ekonomik fayda, algılanan maliyet ve ziyaretçi memnuniyeti şeklinde kategorize edilmiştir. Öte yandan, katılımcıların demografik özellikleri ile sürdürülebilir turizmin gelişimine yönelik tutumları arasında anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu belirlenmiştir. AbstractSustainable tourism emerges as an important factor for destinations in achieving competitive advantage sover long-term.The aim of this study is to define the attitude of local people to development of sustainable tourism. Another aim of the study is to examine whether there is a difference between the perspectives of participants to the dimensions of sustainable tourism according to their demographic features. In this context, a research has been carried out among participants living in Akcakoca District of Düzce, which is an important tourism destination. In order to achieve this aim, the study is based on quantitative research methods. Data is achieved from 382 participants through questionnaire forms. Following the searches, attitudes to the development of sustainable tourism are defined as six dimensions. These dimensions are environmental sustainability, planning, participation of people to tourism, economic benefit, perceived cost and visitor satisfaction. On the other side, it is defined that there is difference between the demographic features of participants and their attitude to the development of sustainable tourism.

Öz İslamiyet; çevreyi korumayı emreden, israfı yasaklayan ve toplumların sosyal yaşantısı ve inancına saygı duyan semavi bir dindir. İslam dininin gereklerine göre turizm faaliyeti gerçekleştiren bireylerin sürdürülebilir turizme katkı sağladığı düşünülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda bu araştırmanın temel amacı, İslam dinine mensup helala duyarlı turistlerin sürdürülebilir turizm gelişimine yönelik algılarının ortaya konulmasıdır. Veriler beş yıldızlı helal konseptli otellerde konaklayan toplamda 486 kişiden anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları helala duyarlı turistlerin turizm faaliyeti gösterdikleri destinasyonun sürdürülebilirliğine duyarlı olduklarını ve İslam dinin gerekleri arasında sayılan çevrenin korunması ve israftan kaçılması emirlerini benimsediklerini göstermektedir. Helala duyarlı turistlerin sürdürülebilir turizmin gelişiminde öncelikle çevresel konulara dikkat ettiği ve sürdürülebilir turizm gelişiminde uzun vadeli planlamaların yapılması gerektiği düşüncesinde oldukları tespit edilmiştir.
