Organocatalytic Asymmetric Direct α‐Alkynylation of Cyclic β‐Ketoesters.

Abstract: Enantioselective syntheses O 0031Organocatalytic Asymmetric Direct α-Alkynylation of Cyclic β-Ketoesters. -The reaction is catalyzed by chiral phase-transfer compounds to afford the products with excellent enantioselectivities. The alkynylating agents can bear different substituents and are successful for cyclic β-ketoesters with various ring-sizes.
