Organic farming, characterised by environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural practices, has gained significant attention throughout the years due to its potential to address critical issues such as food security, environmental sustainability, and public health. Voluntary certification systems play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of organic products in the market. Understanding the research landscape surrounding organic farming and voluntary certifications is of paramount importance for scholars, policy makers, farmers, and consumers. In this context, the present study utilizes a bibliometric approach to achieve a deeper understanding of the trends, key contributors, and key terms in these domains via a bibliometric analysis in order to contribute to the broader goals of promoting sustainable agriculture and informed consumer choices. The evolution of the field is traced, shedding light on seminal papers, influential authors, and prolific journals. The research type is quantitative, using Web of Science, VOSviewer, and bibliometric study as instruments. The results show that, for both terms “organic farming” and “voluntary certifications”, papers usually involve three or more authors and use other sources as the unit of analysis, leaving room for improvement and the filling of a gap in the specialty literature. This insight can guide future researchers and policymakers in focusing on critical areas within organic farming and certification systems, further advancing the field and addressing pressing issues related to sustainability, quality, and consumer awareness.

The awareness of the negative impact of conventional farming and its safety have increased society's perception of organic farming and its product. Unfortunately, the level of knowledge and adoption of organic farming practices among farmers are still low due to the assumption that organic farming is hard to implement. Ponorogo Organic Farming Community is a farming community that tries to adopt an organic farming system and has produced paddy and several horticultural crops cultivated organically. It was identified that the community had not yet applied the use of natural plant growth regulators (PGR) in their practice. Therefore, an agricultural extension activity was organized to share the knowledge on how to prepare an onion extract natural PGR. A survey was also performed to understand the level of knowledge and adoption of the participant. The questionnaire showed that most of the participants had not ever applied natural PGR even though had already heard about them before. Therefore, this program was of relevancy to improve the knowledge of the participant on organic way of farming particularly on the utilization of natural PGR.

Indian bean is an imperious vegetable crop of India as it works as source of nutritional food along with handful amount of money to grower in its seasonal tenure. Organic farming is crucial need of recent era in order to provide healthy food without adversely affecting the ecosystem. Considering above given facts, present experiment was taken with objective to find out effects of Novel organic liquid nutrient and Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient application on economics of Indian bean [Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet] production. The experiment was portrayed under Randomized Block Designed with three replications and seven treatments i.e. No spray (T1), 0.5% Novel organic liquid nutrient (T2), 1.0% Novel organic liquid nutrient (T3), 1.5% Novel organic liquid nutrient (T4), 0.5% Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient (T5), 1.0% Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient (T6) and 1.5% Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient (T7) at Navsari Agricultural University, Gujarat, India on Indian bean variety Gujarat Navsari Indian Bean 22 (GNIB 22). Higher net income (Rs. 1,05,178 per ha) and BCR (1.21) were found under the treatment T5 (0.5% Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient). Thus, application of 0.5% Novel Plus organic liquid nutrient increases the yield and BCR of Indian bean production without adversely affecting the ecosystem as it is an organic input.
